Show off your avatar and podcast using onMason

Posted by OnMason Webmaster on July 1, 2009

Hi onMason user,

It looks like things are going well with your site and I hope that you’re interested in adding more functionality.

Did you know you can have a user avatar that shows up in your friends lists and a avatar just for your blog? You can check out [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/users.php?page=user-avatar to upload a picture of yourself and [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=blog-avatar to create an image to symbolize your blog.

Always wanted to literally get your voice out? Activate PowerPress, our simple to use podcasting plugin that will let you create iTunes compatible podcast posts. If it isn’t already active on your blog, turn it on at the plugins page ( [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/plugins.php ) and activate the full functionality at [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=powerpress/powerpressadmin_basic.php. After that you can see the podcast episode field below every post.

Have Google Mail? Then you can see how is visiting your site and where they are coming from by using Google Analytics. Just copy the Analytics code into your blog at [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=google-analytics

Don’t forget to look for your friends by username or e-mail from onMason’s Friend panel ( [Your Blog URL]/wp-admin/friends.php?page=find-friends )

Check out How To… onMason ( http://howto.onmason.com ) to see video tutorials on everything you can do with an onMason site.

Having trouble? Check the help pull-down at the top of your dashboard.

More for you to do onMason

Posted by OnMason Webmaster on July 1, 2009

Hi onMason User

I hope you are having fun with your onMason site!

I see you’ve started to set up your site and I’d like to help you get more out of your onMason experience.

Have you decided that you didn’t like your blog title after all? Go to the general options ( [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/options-general.php ) in your Settings tab and you can change your site title and the subhead.

Check your options for MobilePress ( [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mobilepress ) and make sure your blog shows up right on mobile devices.

If something goes wrong or you just can’t figure it out, file a support ticket ( [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/support.php?page=tickets ) and get help from onMason’s administrators.

Find your friends by username or e-mail from onMason’s Friend panel ( [Your blog URL]/wp-admin/friends.php?page=find-friends )

Also, don’t forget to check out How To… onMason ( http://howto.onmason.com ) to see video tutorials on everything you can do with an onMason site.

When all else fails don’t forget to check the help pull-down at the top of your dashboard.
